Collective effort reaps rewards

HEC Paris News: Collective effort reaps rewards

Marina Kundu, Associate Dean at HEC Paris in charge of Executive Education, expresses her immense satisfaction on this outstanding achievement and what it represents:

“We are thrilled and honored to have been ranked

This is a tremendous vote of confidence on the part of our participants and corporate clients, and a truly collective success for our entire community.

Our core values have made it possible

These rankings confirm our position as a leader in the field of management education. Personally, the message I take from this is that now more than ever we have a responsibility to continue to design programs that address the most relevant and critical issues facing businesses today, and to help them prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

Going forward, our challenge is to reflect on and put into action what we believe will enable business leaders to act as a positive force to improve the lives of people everywhere, and do it in a mindful and sustainable way for the planet.

Together with our faculty, staff, partner companies and institutions, we must continue to offer exciting and innovative programs, which will contribute to our participants’ lifelong personal and professional development. We want to give them the courage, skills, and knowledge they need to act in a more tolerant, thoughtful, and ultimately effective way for the global community.

What lies behind the rankings?

The Financial Times rankings are based largely on a satisfaction questionnaire completed by our participants and corporate clients. They highlight the excellence of the faculty, the quality of the program design and teaching methods, and the new skills and learning achieved. They are a testimony to our continuing efforts to produce and transmit the most advanced knowledge in management science and to provide our participants with a truly transformational learning experience.

Over the last five years, we have consistently held either the first or second position worldwide in the combined ranking. Our custom-designed programs for companies have been ranked #2 in the world for six years running (#1 in Europe) and our open-enrolment programs have progressed remarkably over the last ten years, going from the 27th position in 2004 to 3rd today.

Maintaining a leading position worldwide in the face of growing competition and an evolving landscape of education for senior managers and executives is a tremendously exciting challenge.”
