HEC Paris and Ecole 42 propelled their start-ups in Silicon Valley.

Created by HEC Paris and School 42, the Launchpad Valley, an innovative program open to start-ups eager to launch their activity in the United States, has just ended.

Nine start-ups created by students from both schools and the HEC incubator attended a two-month program in Silicon Valley.

After careful selection, each start-up has benefited, in the very heart of Silicon Valley, from a pedagogy articulated around master classes, workshops, conferences, events (Venture Crush), mentoring sessions, networking and pitching sessions. All these opportunities have helped to create an innovative spirit, further reinforced by the confrontation with the beating heart of global innovation.

Launchpad Valley Program Director

“We have identified start-ups in our ecosystem that potentially meet the needs of the American market, particularly in artificial intelligence, augmented reality and high-tech textiles. The United States is a country-continent: you have to think big and go fast because this is where the global competition is concentrated.
—— Guillaume le Dieu de Ville

The program is just coming to an end and the results are promising with ongoing fundraising and teams that are clearly moving to the other side of the Atlantic. One thing is certain, the change of state of mind and ambition has taken place.
