The Energy Major is aimed at executives and senior managers working in industries and services where energy production and consumption can have significant consequences on the corporate bottom line. It addresses the need of leaders to develop a comprehensive and strategic view of energy issues, including climate impact on the global economy.
During the Major, you will have the opportunity to visit internationally renowned energy companies, such as Ras Laffan - the world's largest natural liquefied gas plant, RTE - France's Electricity Transport Network and CEA - French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy. Inspirational guest speakers from leading organizations in the sector (Total, Maersk, QatarGas…) are also invited to share their experience and insights with you.
The Leadership module is the best one I’ve experienced so far – the reason I chose this EMBA program was to progress in my career and to develop the necessary tools and skills to excel in the workplace. This module was enlightening mainly because of the experiences of the other participants and because it teaches you a lot about yourself, what drives you, how you are perceived by other people and what you can do in practical terms to get the best out of the people around you.
The lecturers were of a very high level and they really facilitated the exchange of ideas and “savoir-faire”. Interacting with colleagues from all over the world and from different sectors of the energy industry was a wonderful and truly energizing experience on every level!
