Master Class in December: Predictable Surprises

Last week, HEC Paris in China held a Masterclass on the topic of “Predictable Surprises” – 24 executives from a wide range of sectors were present at the Sofitel Wanda Hotel in Beijing.

Before the lecture began, Anais Jiang gave the participants a brief overview of the ZJU-HEC Executive MBA track in China, as well as our custom programs that are tailored to the specific needs of individual organizations. During the Masterclass itself, Professor Matthew Mulford explored some of the implications of the 2-system model of thought. He presented a series of practical steps, which can be taken to avoid predictable mistakes and errors of judgment.

The participants found the Masterclass so stimulating and thought-provoking that many of them expressed their interest in following an EMBA program at HEC Paris afterwards.
