In a world of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity), organizations demand even more from their leaders to inspire their teams, to deal with changes and to be agile and flexible. When driving a new strategy, bringing new changes and leading a new team are becoming increasingly critical. In the 2015 Business Climate Survey Result, leadership and communication skills are quoted as the most necessary to improve operations in China.
In this context, the objectives of this 2-day training course are to enable participants to:
- Know themselves better as well as understand better their counterparts and stakeholders through the personality approach
- Influence stakeholders with genuine authenticity blended with a balanced assertiveness
- Strengthen the 3 pillars of leadership: thinking the vision, feeling and managing emotions, deciding and keeping the momentum
- Develop their coaching skills to empower their team and let people take initiative and be accountable.
This course is aimed at managers in charge of a team who are eager to develop their leadership skills and will be delivered in English.

Course Details:
Day 1: Master your ability to favor collective intelligence and cooperation through personality approach
The objectives of this first day are to allow participants to acquire the different concepts and frameworks to know and accept themself better as well as better understanding the others, in order to better communicate and influence.
Day 2: Leadership in action
The objectives of the second day are to focus on the 3 pillars of leadership and how managers need to constantly think, feel and act, in order to provide a strong alignment between vision, inspiration and momentum.

Speakers:
Anne-Claire de Lavigerie
A lecturer at HEC Paris Executive Education, Tongji and Xiamen University, Mrs. de Lavigerie teaches in Leadership, Management, Public speaking and assertiveness, programs.
She is also contributor to the Encyclopedia of Executive Governance (“Circular thinking in management” 2007, Eyrolles) as well as The Expansion Management Review (“The seven sins of top management”, December 2006 issue; “Les pièges de la pluri-intervention”, March 2009 issue). In China she has published an article in Connections on “Initiative in China”
After spending 13 years at the head of the sales and marketing division and as a member of the board of directors in major companies like Procter and Gamble, Group Hachette and EMAP France, Mrs. de Lavigerie has become Associate Director of “Etudes et Conseil”.
She specializes in tailor-made in-company actions since 2002, and has developed for 13 years, as a consultant, an operational expertise in the following fields: Leadership, Management, communication and cooperation, cohesion within boards of directors, project team or natural team; change management, innovation processes and executive coaching.
