In 2013, HEC Paris designed a custom training program for ETAM, a leading enterprise in women's clothing. HEC Paris and ETAM worked in collaboration to create a unique, international course tailoreed to the specific needs, challenges, goals and objectives of the enterprise.
Participants completed the most recent module of the course in Shanghai from 8 - 12 June, 2015. HEC Paris Academic Director, Patrick Delamaire, Professor Kristine de Valck and Professor Anne Michaut travelled to China to deliver the module and work with the participants. Guest speakers included Grace Xu, Founder of Viva Nutrition and Victor Yang, General Manager of "Same Same But Different", who shared their international and digital marketing expertise.
Co-creating a custom-designed course to develop expert mangagement at ETAM
The tailor-made curriculum focuses specifically on different areas of strategic management and leadership, and the modular format of the course enables French and Chinese participants to follow parallel tracks in their home cities. The objective of the course is to enable participants to enhance and expand their knowledge of essential levers of business management such as strategy, finance, value creation, customer focus, marketing and digital marketing and human resource management.
Unique company, unique course
HEC Paris worked with ETAM executives to co-create and craft each step of the design, delivery and implementation of the course. The course is continuously refined and updated in order to adapt to strategic and economic initiatives within the ETAM Group, and in order to address developments and challenges in the increasingly competitive, global clothing market.
