This unique major is aimed at executives seeking to develop new business ventures and discover best practice for stimulating innovation.

We offer 2 international options for the major:

  1. USA: Entrepreneurship & Innovation from a European and American perspective
  2. China: Entrepreneurship & Innovation from a European and Chinese perspective

Michel Roger is an affiliate professor at HEC Paris and Academic coordinator of the Executive MBA program in Shanghai. He held a variety positions at Norton, a U.S. corporation and world leader in the abrasives industry, including Marketing Director Europe. In 1989, he was appointed CEO of Arjo Wiggins Speciality Papers, an international Anglo-French paper manufacturer with annual revenue of nearly $1 billion. Michel has worked as a consultant in strategic management since 2000 has been an active member of the HEC Paris Executive MBA faculty since 1978.

Sihem Jouini is an Associate Professor at HEC Paris where she teaches Innovation Management, New Product Development and Project management. She has published papers in prestigious journals such as Creativity Innovation Management, International Journal of Project management and the Journal of Product Innovation Management. Dr. Jouini has also been involved as an author or an editor in several books.

I chose this Major because I am launching a new activity based on innovation and was looking for expert advice, practical methodology and feedback from entrepreneurs.

I thought Babson would provide the pragmatic perspective I was looking for as well as extensive experience in developing business ventures - it did just that!
