Before I enrolled for the EMBA I was an IT management consultant for 12 years at Apsia. I needed to be ready for what was coming next: to be in charge of the future of my company at an executive level. I wanted a program that would provide me with a large overview of business so that I could manage my company with a balanced knowledge of its different functions – from marketing to finance.
I chose the HEC Paris EMBA entreprise training because the school is one of the leading business schools for executive education worldwide. I opted for the one-day-a-week format of the program because it was flexible - my company, Apsia, is a small but fast growing firm and therefore I could not afford to take time off work or away from my clients. I could run the business and focus on my studies, and the best part was that I was able to use the firm as a business case study, so I’m not the only one who benefited from the program – my company did too.
The Capstone Project was a great lesson in team-work. I benefited from my teacher’s experience and designed an M&A strategy for the external growth of my company. It was a challenging but enriching experience – you really see how much knowledge you have gathered over the course of the program!
The program changed my life. It gave me the confidence I needed to get to the next step in my career. It opened up my eyes to the many different aspects of a business, and nurtured my passion for entrepreneurship and leadership.
