Professor Gérard de Maupeou
Professor Gérard de Maupeou teaches strategy and is responsible for the academic development and delivery of several open-enrolment programs within HEC Executive Education. He is the Director for Academic Affairs, HEC Executive Education International Programs.
Gerard de Maupeou spent his career in various international groups and industry sectors, such as heavy steel manufacturing, banking, general contracting, the agro industry and telecommunications. Within several subsidiaries of the French company France Telecom, he held various senior management positions, such as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Senior V.P International Development, Head of Direct Marketing, etc.
His fields of expertise cover business and corporate strategy, change management, mergers and acquisitions, process optimization and business controlling. In addition to his academic work with HEC Paris, Gerard de Maupeou is a Senior Partner in a strategy consulting firm, where he has been advising, among others, a major French events company as well as numerous professional unions.
Gerard de Maupeou graduated from Sciences Po Paris and holds a HEC Paris Executive MBA.
