Two master classes were recently held in Shanghai and Beijing.
An HEC Paris Master Class on Corporate Strategy was recently held in CCIFC Shanghai for executives coming from a wide range of business sectors and companies.
It was led by Professor Jaideep Anand who runs the Corporate Strategy modules for the ZJU-HEC Executive MBA in China Program. He focused on the triangular relationship between business strategy, company profitability, and company expansion. His presentation was very well received by the participants who found the content clear, logical, and insightful.
The Master Class on Equity Investment and Mixed Ownership took place at the Minmetals conference room in Beijing. Elodie Xu began proceedings with a brief overview of the ZJU-HEC EMBA in China program before handing over to Professor Li Xia. He focused on the role of private capital in State-owned enterprise reform and how to evaluate investment opportunities. The participants found the presentation interesting, stimulating and thought-provoking.
Master Classes are an excellent way of providing potential EMBA candidates with a foretaste of the HEC Paris experience and enabling them to benefit from the expertise of internationally renowned members of Faculty.
