When people talk about business schools, the first thing that springs to mind is, perhaps, the high salaries offered by large companies to their graduates. That is why entrance to prestigious business schools can be extremely competitive. And after admission, it can cost students a fortune to make it through an entire MBA or EMBA program.
Business school education has come a long way, but it is only in the past 10 years that it has really caught on in China. As the Chinese economy has galloped forward, business schools have mushroomed in the country. People go to business schools for a positive change, either on their career path or in their circle of connections.
So what is the magic behind business schools? And how does China's business education differ from its international counterparts?
