The Financial Times rankings place HEC Paris #3 overall for Executive Education and #2 for customized programs in 2016. The school secures top position in categories determined by company feedback, including the highest quality of teachers. This year, for the first time ever, HEC Paris also has the highest level of Faculty diversity out of any business school in the world.
HEC Paris has retained its #2 position in the world for customized programs in Executive Education for the eighth year running. That’s according to the 2016 Financial Times rankings, which assessed the quality of education for senior executives among the world’s top 85 management schools. Once Open-enrolment programs were included, HEC Paris came #3 overall in the league table (see page 8 of the FT Executive Education Report).
HEC Paris Recognized for Diversity
For the customized programs HEC Paris was deemed to have the highest quality of teachers in the world, and also came top in categories pertaining to preparation, program design, the new skills participants learned, aims they achieved, and quality of follow-up provided to participants. Companies were pivotal in determining these results. Ten of the criteria that determined the rankings were based on the ratings of the firms that commissioned the programs.
For the first time this year, HEC Paris also came #1 in faculty diversity for its customized programs, with women comprising about half of teaching staff and overseas lecturers making up two thirds of the Faculty. In previous years, the school had always appeared in the top ten in this category, but had never held the lead position.
